Purchase Three Tulips in a Jar

Have you ever been surprised by a glimpse of some beautiful tableau in an otherwise artless surrounding? These three tulips were sitting in an office cubicle, but the sun shone on them brightly, and the light passed through the tinted glass, making interesting patterns on the computer desk. It struck me that this was evidence of the human desire for beauty and aliveness even in the most lifeless surroundings. It gave a lift to my morning.

I chose to liven up the colors for this acrylic painting, so I used a more pleasing yellow for the floral backdrop. This color choice creates an interesting interaction with the glass jar and a warm embrace for three tulips, the stars of this composition.
