Two pink zinnias, basking in the morning sun, stand tall with an aura of dignified importance.

I was greeted by these two extremely tall zinnias along my walk through the backyard garden. The pair seemed like two old schoolmarms assigned to watch over the path and protect it from the shenanigans of ne’er-do-wells. This vertical acrylic painting of pinks and greens celebrates the strength and beauty of the stately zinnia.
