Purchase Fourth of July Lilies

If you love a striking white flower, these exotic lilies will make you happy. They usually bloom as July approaches, and by the fourth, they are in full swing. We have fireworks every year without ever striking a match!

People often mistake them for the semi-aquatic Cahaba lilies. They are very similar, but the spider lilies in this acrylic floral painting came from my backyard and bloom during both the rainy season and a drought.

Set amongst the deep green blades that always precede their appearance, the backdrop of a wooden fence provides a rich contrast in texture.
